This site is a
ground level petition to encourage President Obama to write a bill to be put to
a popular vote, that proposes the following:
An amendment to
the constitution that provides for the most effective communication of each
citizens will, directed to Congress, with national results on every item
proposed for a vote, including pork barrel spending. (In other words the
ability to be informed and electronically poll the will of the People, by a
method convenient to us; Then to know if our Congress voted the majority).
The People have
the technology and the RIGHT to be heard and informed on every issue and
activity of its elected government.
For too long
Congress has catered to special interests and held the party line while they
spend our money, raise our taxes, and start international actions IN OUR NAME
without legitimately representing the actual will of the people.
Evened out, each
That’s a lot of
power for one person. Think of how serious the consequences of our leaders
choices are right now.
